Community summary

The Community summary is the landing page for one Actualog community. It introduces the domain and provides routes to its shared categories, facets, companies, catalogs, products, and experts.

Header and membership

The community header shows its name, description, visual identity, and membership control. A signed-in user can join or leave the community from this header.

Joining adds the community to Explore Communities in your Sidebar. It does not grant access to private company workspaces.

Counters and navigation

The header counters show how many records are associated with the community:

  • Categories — taxonomy entries used in the domain;
  • Companies — organizations connected with the community;
  • Catalogs — visible catalogs associated with it;
  • Products — visible products associated with it;
  • Experts — users participating in the community;
  • Facets — community-specific discovery classifications.

Select a counter to open the corresponding list.

Showcase sections

The page can show representative products, categories, companies, experts, catalogs, and popular facets. These sections are discovery samples, not a complete result set. Use View all or the corresponding counter to open the full scoped list.

How to explore a community

  1. Read the community description to confirm that it matches your domain.
  2. Review the counters to understand its coverage.
  3. Open a category, product, company, catalog, or expert from a showcase section, or select View all.
  4. On list pages, use community facets to narrow the results.
  5. Join the community if you want it to remain in your Sidebar.

Common mistakes

  • Do not treat showcase cards as the complete community inventory.
  • Do not assume membership grants company permissions.
  • A count can differ by user when visibility rules hide private records.
